- Application deadline for the submission of projects will be July 15, 2012
- The pitching session will be on the November 8, 2012
- The meeting of the jury will be in September, 2012
- 12 projects will be selected for the 2012 pitching session.
- one more project will be presented as a Special Pitch.
- Applications can be made by production companies only.
- Submitted projects must be suited for the European market.
- Applications can be made for theatrical features or TV movies.
- Only completed "accreditation applications with projects" will be taken into consideration.
- A jury will select the projects to be presented at Connecting Cottbus. We will invite the producer and scriptwriter, or alternatively the director to attend the event. Connecting Cottbus will cover hotel and travel.
- Each project will be given 10 minutes: 5 minutes for a short presentation of the project by the producer and scriptwriter/director, and the remaining time for a moderated discussion with film professionals in attendance.
- Please note that a project cannot be presented in the absence of the producer.
