pitching - submissions criteria

• Deadline for the submission of projects was the 15 July 2010.
• The pitching session will be on the 4  November 2010.
• The meeting of the jury will be the 13 September 2010.
• 12 projects will be selected for the 2010 pitching session.
• A 13th project will be presented as a Special Pitch.

submissions criteria

• Applications can be made by production companies only.
• Submitted projects must be suited for the European market
• Applications can be made for theatrical features or TV movies.
• Only completed "accreditation applications with projects" will be taken into consideration.
• A jury will select the projects to be presented at Connecting Cottbus. We will notify and invite the producer and scriptwriter, or alternatively the director to attend the event. Connecting Cottbus will cover hotel and travel.
• Each project will be given 12 minutes: 5 minutes for a short presentation of the project by the producer and scriptwriter/director, and the remaining time for a moderated discussion with film professionals in attendance.
• Please note that a project cannot be presented in the absence of the producer.
