Pitch section:

coco Best Pitch Award

The industry audience will vote for the best public presentation of a project during the pitching session. The “coco Best Pitch Award” cash prize of €1.500 goes to the producer of the awarded project.

Producers Network Award

The winner of the “coco Best Pitch Award” will also receive the “Producers Network Award”, free accreditation to the Producers Network at the Marché du Film in Cannes 2019.

Avanpost Pitch Packaging Award

Avanpost, one of Eastern Europe’s most comprehensive post-production outfits, based in Romania, will provide the winner with in-kind services with a value of approx. €15.000 including strategy consulting and storyboarding as well as production/post-production for a proof of concept. /

MIDPOINT Consulting Award

Our partner MIDPOINT will design a tailor-made consultancy for the awarded project, which will take place during When East Meets West 2019 in Trieste, Italy. The award includes hospitality and accreditation for WEMW.

Work in Progress section:


A jury of film industry professionals will give the “D-Facto Motion WiP Award” to a Work in Progress project after the WiP session. The in-kind prize includes post-production services with a value of approx. €35.000, sponsored by D-Facto Motion, the renowned post-production studio with branches in five major German cities and the latest high-end technology.
