"Der Prinz und der Dybbuk", "Die Abenteuer eines Mathematikers", and "Die Erben" are recently funded by the German-Polish Film Fund (DPFF) - a funding cooperation of Mitteldeutsche Medienförderung (MDM) and Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg in conjunction with the Polish Film Institute. Latvia´s MELLOW MUD (ES ESMU SĚIT) has won the Crystal Bear for Best Film in the Generation 14plus strand of Berlinale 2016. The feature debut of Latvian director Renārs Vimba, pitched at coco 2012, received its world premiere in the youth strand of the Berlinale and centres on a 17-year-old girl and her little brother who keep the death of their grandmother secret in an attempt not to lose their home. The think-tank platform #FEEDback aims to increase cooperation among Eastern European countries during the three film festivals in Cluj-Napoca, Cottbus and Trieste.
